1. Corporate Identity and Mission

Tower Velvet is operated by Tower Velvet Ltd, a company incorporated in London, United Kingdom. Tower Velvet Ltd operates under a structured social and non-profit cultural mission. All financial corporate revenues generated through submission fees, tickets, and sponsorships are strictly reinvested into the circuit's operations, event production, and the funding of academic scholarships, student learning grants, and travel allowances for independent filmmakers.

2. Submission Guidelines & Fees

• All film submissions must be completed digitally through our platform.
• Filmmakers agree to pay the specific entry fee associated with their chosen festival category, deadlines (e.g., Earlybird, Regular, Late), or specific discipline.
• The exact applicable submission fees are displayed transparently in real-time on our official selection pages prior to checkout.
• Filmmakers must provide a valid, accessible digital link (such as an unlisted YouTube or Vimeo link). It is the filmmaker's sole responsibility to ensure the link remains active and any required passwords are provided to the festival curators.

3. Strict Non-Refundable Policy

• All submission entry fees processed through our platform are strictly non-refundable and final.
• Once a film is submitted and the payment is authorized via our secure gateway (Stripe), no refunds, partial refunds, or charge reversals will be issued under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to: film disqualification, accidental submission, failure to provide a working video link, or withdrawal of the film by the filmmaker.

4. Annual Grand Finale & Physical Awards

While the initial selection and curation stages are conducted online, the official Grand Finale and Award Ceremony take place physically in London, United Kingdom, every July. Selected winners will be eligible for physical trophy distribution, academic prizes, and potential travel and subsistence grants managed by Tower Velvet Ltd, subject to annual budget allocations and terms.

5. Intellectual Property

Filmmakers retain 100% of the rights to their films. By submitting to Tower Velvet, you grant our curators and live event staff the limited right to screen your film or promotional trailer physically during the July London events and privately within our secured judging dashboard.
